Our Project manager’s scope of work included the construction project management of upgrading the Marin County’s existing emergency radio communications system to improve the County’s emergency communication capabilities during daily public service and critical emergencies. The project replaced equipment at currently operating communications sites as well as installed telecommunications facilities such as Towers, Microwave Dishes, Antennae, Radio Shelters, and emergency power generation. This telecommunication system would also utilize new technology to provide improved public service and emergency radio coverage within the County of Marin. The Next Generation System will improve regional and wide-area conversations between dispatch operators and mobile units operating throughout most of Marin County.
