The scope of work at Orange County’s John Wayne Airport was to design, deploy and
maintain a Distributed Antenna System (DAS). The DAS would enhance cellular coverage and
throughput throughout the well-traveled airport. The airport’s existing Wi-Fi network would
be upgraded to provide dependable coverage for travelers. Responsibilities of project
manager personnel included fostering and cultivating open and collaborative communication
between key clients and technical personnel. Contracts and RFP responses were reviewed
and analyzed to ensure program requirements and deliverables were met. Full accountability
for overseeing risk management tracking was met along with implementing mitigation steps
throughout the project plan process.
